Max Kruse (36) and his comeback in the district league. The good mood is quickly followed.
On Sunday he made his debut for the BSV Al-Dersimspor second team, 130 days after the end of his professional career. In the 1-1 draw with the Spandauer Kickers III, he provided the assist for the goal. There was still trouble after the game. Reason: His wife was insulted.

In a video on Monday, Kruse appeared in a black shirt and vented his anger. Kruse on Instagram: “I know that trash talk is part of it on and off the pitch. But just leave my wife out of it! She was there yesterday to cheer me on, to support me, and some fans – I didn’t hear it on the pitch myself, but she showed me a video afterwards – these chants of ‘F*ck Dilara’.”
Dilara and Max Kruse have been a couple since 2020 and got married in 2021. Like many other fans, she was there on Sunday to cheer on the former national player.

Kruse was clear about the insults: “Something like that goes below the belt, you should question yourself, it’s just not part of it. If you go after me, no problem, I don’t care at all, but just leave my wife out of it.”

Kruse continued: “There are people who don’t deal with it as easily as I do. I don’t give a shit about any of that. But you don’t have to drag my wife into this. If you scream, ‘F*ck Max’ or whatever, that’s all because of me, but insult my wife and then want to take photos with me…if she had told me that right then and there, it certainly wouldn’t have gotten this far.”
