Change of technical guide in view of next season for Allianz Basketball Trieste: the club has decided not to exercise the renewal option (1 + 1) for the coach Franco Cianipossibility offered by the contract that until now linked the coach to the Julian club.
The choice of management is not to be considered linked to purely technical issues, but follows the imminent renewal of the governance of Trieste Basketball: the news therefore does not end here, since it will be up to the new company leaders to establish the new technical guide.
In fact, free choice was left on the next coach to be hired by the next management (as stated in the official statement of the club); hence the desire not to exercise the renewal option on the existing contract of Franco Ciani, who therefore leaves Trieste.

In any case, the management wanted to express the utmost gratitude for the work done by the coach in the season as head coach of Serie A 2021-2022, after having been the deputy in the 2020-2021 one.
