Striking news from England after Real Madrid’s Champions League victory over Eden Hazard. Nothing to do with the losing finalist Liverpool, but with Chelsea.
Because according to The Daily Mail The Blues are doing a golden business with the win of Real Madrid. In the sense that a special clause was stipulated by the English with the transfer from Chelsea to De Koninklijke in 2019.
That stipulated that if Real won the Champions League with Hazard in the core, Chelsea would receive an extra 15 million pounds or 17.6 million euros from the Madrilenians. On top of the 115 million euros they already received. Which is what happened now.
