Also this year Ragusa, Modica, Ispica and Pozzallo get the blue flag.
The four Ragusa towns are therefore Blue Flag 2022.
The important recognition is assigned on the basis of compliance with 30 parameters including for example: the healthiness of the water, the quality of services and separate waste collection.
Ragusa, Modica, Ispica and Pozzallo present themselves on the eve of summer with all the credentials to face a summer season that will surely have great success after two years of pandemic.
“For the second consecutive year Modica is reconfirmed Blue Flag. A result that is anything but obvious given the significant decrease in blue flags throughout Sicily”. Ignazio Abbate, former mayor of Modica, says so.
“I take this opportunity to thank all the municipal offices who have done their utmost to collect the data and the Blue Flag office which has carried out a great coordination work”, says the mayor of Pozzallo, Roberto Ammatuna.
