Brest softball players from the Foyer laïque de Saint-Marc lead the outdoor Brittany Open, halfway through – Brest – Saint-Marc

Sunday was held in Pontivy (56) the second day of Open Bzh outdoor softball. After two victories on the first day against Montfort (35) and Lannion (22), the opponents of the Foyer laïque de Saint-Marc (Brest) were the Griffons Gregam Baseball Club (Grand-Champ, 56) and the Breizhlanders du Pontivy baseball/softball (56).

Facing Gregam, with Franck Péan pitching, in a hotly contested match, the Saint-Marcois won 18 to 11. Regarding the second match, against Pontivy, Aude Georgelin took the pitch. The one-sided match ended with another victory for Brest, 18-1.

The team, mostly female on Sunday, was able to win. The FLSM is first in the West group with four victories. Next days June 12th and 26th.

The team was made up of (from left to right): standing, Aude Georgelin, Morgane Gautier, Ninon Le Gall, Mickael Boulzennec, Isabelle Quioc and Sébastien Dubois; in front, Franck Péan, Cindy Lemarinel, Jessica Dienis, Juliette Garo and Boris Legand.
