PSG: Pochettino, Bilbao’s approach explained

As we told you on Monday (see here), the daily L’Equipe revealed contacts between Athletic Bilbao and Paris Saint-Germain coach Mauricio Pochettino. But in reality, the Argentinian technician was approached by Ricardo Barkala, candidate for the presidency of the Basque formation, according to the regional media El Correo.

Thus, the president of the Port of Bilbao made the trip to Paris to discuss with the former manager of Tottenham his project and to know the intentions of the Parisian, under contract until June 2023, for his future. It remains to be seen whether Pochettino, who could claim a rebound in a more upscale formation, can be seduced by this possibility.
