The midweek round leads well to the under 14 of Piacenza baseball who beat Junior Parma 10-9 on Wednesday at Montesissa after almost three hours of play. Right winning point at the last attack after the red and white seemed to have secured the result already in the first innings. 8-4 for D’Auria’s boys after two innings but in the second part the Parma peers were the protagonists of a stubborn comeback. So after six innings the tie was re-established at 9-9 postponing everything in the final inning. After having carefully defended, at the change of field the red and white hit the point that was used to win. The other Piacenza youth teams will be back on the field tomorrow afternoon, Saturday. At De Benedetti the under 15 hosts (4.30 pm) the Collecchio while the under 12 is away to Parma on the Oltretorrente diamond (starting at 5 pm).
