As is known, Indonesia has recently succeeded in holding three series of badminton tournaments in Bali without spectators entitled Indonesia Badminton Festival 2021.
The three badminton tournaments are Indonesia Masters 2021 (16-21 November), Indonesia Open 2021 (23-28 November), and BWF World Tour Finals 2021 (1-5 December 2021) in Bali without spectators.
Now, held at Istora Senayan Jakarta, Indonesia is again hosting the prestigious badminton tournaments, namely Indonesia Masters 2022 (7-12 June) and Indonesia Open 2022 (14-19 June).
The Indonesia Masters 2022 and Indonesia Open 2022 are planned to be held with an audience and broadcast on television stations. There are approximately 273 athletes who are ready to enliven the tournament.
“A total of 273 athletes from 28 countries will participate, of which from the strongest countries in the world, badminton will send their best players to Jakarta,” said Deputy Chairman of PP PBSI Alex Tirta in a virtual press statement.
“Looking at the players present, the quality of this tournament can be called star wars. All the world’s top badminton players came and enlivened the competition from the early stages,” he explained.
Just like the Indonesia Masters 2022, the Indonesia Open 2022 tickets were reportedly sold out in just a matter of hours. This can not be separated from the permission of the audience to attend Istora, Senayan, Jakarta.
The PBSI itself previously stated that on the spot tickets would also be provided. It’s just that the quota is so limited that it’s almost impossible to reach the whole community.
