The municipality of Nuoro awarded a certificate of sporting merit to the judoka Gianmario Fancello, athlete of the Gigliotti Nuoro sports club, who on 24 April in Ostia became the Italian champion of Fisdir judo (Paralympic sports federation) in the 55 kilogram category. He is the first Sardinian to achieve this success.
