REPUBLIC OF BOBOTOH – Persib Stadium or Sidolig Stadium on Jalan Ahmad Yani, Bandung, is a heritage building from the Dutch colonial era.
Founded in 1903 initiated by Mr. Frans Sidolig. The name Sidolig itself is basically an abbreviation of “Sport in de Openlucht is Gezond” which means “Sport in open spaces is healthy”.
Sidolig Stadium is the headquarters of the Dutch colonial football club known as VBBO (Voetbal Bond Bandoeng & Omstraken).
Although it has now been restored and has become a stadium inhabited by Persib players since 2008, as an old building, of course, there are many mystical stories that color the Sidolig Stadium.

The mystical story that developed is said to have started from the appearance of a woman with long hair, an old grandfather with a long beard to a small child.
They sometimes appear from the hallway where the players walk to the meeting room that is always used by the Persib Bandung team.
The assistant coach of the Indonesian national team, Nova Arianto, who was once the backbone of the Persib Bandung squad, turned out to have his own story about the residents of the Persib stadium at the Sidolig Stadium.
Nova Arianto in 2008 turned out to be a resident of the Persib corner room at Sidolig Stadium and has never forgotten him.

“What is unforgettable, of course, is my room in the corner. There are many stories there with Hariono, Tema, and other Persib team friends. There are many,” said Nova with a smile.
In fact, Nova continued, if there is a chance, he wants to enter the Persib mes and see the room he once occupied on the 1st floor together with Hariono and Tema Mursadat.
“Yes, if you have time, you can go back to the mess room because there are so many memories when I was at Persib. Moreover, I entered this team for the first time after this mess was just built. Now the situation is quite alarming,” concluded Nova.**
