MLB – Corona at the Guardians: First game cancellation of the MLB season

New York (SID) – A corona outbreak in the Cleveland Guardians has caused the first pandemic-related game transfer of the season in Major League Baseball (MLB). The duel at the Chicago White Sox scheduled for Wednesday (local time) had to be canceled at short notice due to several positive tests. Manager Terry Francona (63) is one of those affected.

There is no rescheduling yet. Last season, only nine of more than 2,400 games were postponed because of Corona.
