Manchester United finally win again in the Premier League thanks to Ronaldo

Manchester United have won the Premier League again after three games without a win. At Old Trafford, the new club of Ajax coach Erik ten Hag defeated Brentford with clear figures: 3-0.

After defeats against Liverpool (4-0) and Arsenal (3-1) and a draw with Chelsea (1-1), Ralf Rangnick’s team, who left Old Trafford, was hungry for a win. The tone was set against Brentford early on.

With a nice volley, Bruno Fernandes put the home team at 1-0 after nine minutes. United were frantically chasing more goals and appeared to be 2-0 through Ronaldo, who was custom-served by Mata. However, he was narrowly offside.

applause

At halftime, unlike in recent weeks, United received a round of applause for his efforts. Goalkeeper David de Gea also got his hands dirty shortly after the break when he was attentive when Christian Eriksen and Ivan Toney were deployed.

Not much later, Ronaldo was knocked out by Rico Henry and the Portuguese shot in the penalty himself. Raphaël Varane, in his 28th game for United, put the final score on the board with his first goal for the club.
