The feedback from Manchester City fans on the statue of club legend Sergio Aguero (33) unveiled in front of the City Stadium on Friday is clear: unsuccessful, looks more like Toni Kroos (32), who has now been proven to have nothing involved with Manchester City.

Aguero, the midfield star with 41 goals in 101 games for Argentina, had played for City from 2011 to 2021 before moving to FC Barcelona, where he announced his retirement on December 15 last year.
He suffers from severe cardiac arrhythmias and collapsed on the field in a game against Alaves in October 2021.
“No one at City deserves a statue more than Aguero, but this one doesn’t look anything like him,” complained one Citizens fan.
Aguero himself, who scored a total of 260 goals and 73 assists in 390 games for Manchester City, apparently took Andy Scott’s artistically daring sculpture with humor. He patiently posed for photographers with his wife Sofia and signed autographs for fans.
