Now it’s official: Paulo Dybala will leave Juventus at the end of the season, as expected. The Argentine is available on a free transfer.

Attacking player Paulo Dybala has announced his departure from Juventus Turin at the end of the season.

“It’s difficult to find words but tomorrow will be the last time I wear this club’s shirt,” the Argentine wrote on social media. “I thought we would have many more years together, but fate took us down different paths. It’s been an incredible seven years, with 12 titles and 115 goals, and no one will ever take that away from us.”

The 28-year-old’s contract expires at the end of the season and both sides could not agree on an extension. CEO Maurizio Arrivabene confirmed in March Sky Sport Italiathat “the term of the contract and economic matters must be taken into account” and thus led to the failure of the contract negotiations.

In Italy, Inter and Roma are mentioned as potential new left-footed clubs. Borussia Dortmund has also been linked to Dybala.
