Judokas on the podium – Bad Sckingen

Fighters from Bad Sckingen successful at state championships.

(BZ). Judokas from the Kawaishi Bad Sckingen judo club have every reason to be happy: together with their coaches Sigrid and Michael Rittmann, they made their way to Karlsruhe for the state individual championships in judo in the U11 and U15 age groups. Almost all members of the judo club were able to fight for a place on the podium.

Naomi Bittl took first place in the U11s and can now call herself national champion. For boys, Tobias Schneider became state champion in his weight class. The sisters Caroline and Vivian Lehmann and Timur Sipahi each took second place in their weight classes and are now proud runners-up.

Belana Bittl was able to defend her title in the U15 age group. Her brother Quentin Bittl was able to successfully assert himself in his first competition in this age group and took second place. Edgar Batt had to fight hard battles and was happy with third place. All three competitors have thus qualified for the southern German championships at the end of the month.

Kirill Kaal and Laurin Laptev took part in their first tournament in the under-15 age group, but did not achieve any of the top places.
