SPORTS. Tuesday, May 10, was held at the Laurent de Marnaval dojo the last departmental course of the ju-jitsu season of the departmental committee for the North zone. If it was open to all the clubs in the North of the department, only eight judokas from the Judo-club Marnaval / Saint-Dizier and the clubs of Vitry and Thiéblemont, invited, took part. On the program: technical work on attacks, dodges, parries and imposed columns. This course was led by Denis Martin, head of the North zone, assisted by Francis Clerget. “The basis of judo is ju-jitsu”, insisted Francis Clerget. An interdepartmental course will take place on May 28, still at the Laurent dojo, in the presence of Cyril Waresch, 6th Dan national executive and delegate of the Grand Est League for ju-jitsu-taïso training.
