Hertha BSC: Felix Magath – Next criticism of FC Bayern for party vacations in Ibiza – Bundesliga

Next round Bayern criticism from Felix Magath (68).

After the Hertha coach accused his ex-club of a lack of attitude during the 3-1 defeat at Mainz 05 on the Sky microphone on Saturday, Magath turned his attention to Bayern’s party trip to Ibiza the following day. The freshly crowned champion had left for that right after the weak performance in Mainz.

Magath to BILD: “I just read that. What can I say? English teams have been doing this for a long time, but I don’t know if there are results like that.”

And further: “I would definitely not allow something like that, something like that would not come to my mind. Lets see how it goes on. A championship celebration is understandable, but not for three weeks.”

Rumms!

The day before, Magath had even indirectly warned Bayern about distortion of competition.

“There is still something at stake for all the teams until the last matchday,” said the coach, who was coach in Munich from 2004 to 2007 and twice won the double with Bayern. “I don’t know how a team can say: ‘For us the season doesn’t go to the end, we finish three weeks before.’ That doesn’t serve the Bundesliga or the competition.”

Bayern coach Julian Nagelsmann (34) defended himself against this fierce accusation – and turned the tables. “That’s very clever of him. I don’t think he’ll do it entirely unselfishly,” said Nagelsmann. After all, the party Bayern are the next opponent of Hertha’s uphill competitor VfB Stuttgart after their return next Sunday…

Now, with his Ibiza criticism, Magath has once again increased the pressure on Bayern not to let themselves down again…
