The Guarani team had a very good harvest of medals and won 7 medals in the Argentine Judo Championship. Paraguayan judoka won 2 gold, 3 silver and 2 bronze medals, in different categories, both in the male and female branches.
The contest took place in the town of Villa Carlos Paz, Córdoba Province, in the neighboring country and concluded on Sunday.

The delegation attended as a result of the invitation made to the Paraguayan Judo Federation.
The entity took 16 athletes in the child, cadet and junior categories.
The competition was organized by the Argentine Judo Confederation, and had the extraordinary participation of some 1,300 judokas.

The Paraguayans who medaled were:
Oro: Agustín Ledesma, in 64 kg. Sub 15 and Marcelo Vicentini, in 66 kg. Under 21;
Plata: Marcelo Peralta in +90 kg. Under 18; Mateo Ortiz in 60 kg. in Under 21; Diego Noguera in 81 kg. Sub 21.
Bronze: Salomé Báez in 70 kg. Sub 18 and Evelyn González, in 57 kg. Senior Beginners.
