The Venezuelan Gleyber Torres, of the New York Yankees, hit a home run on Sunday to leave the Texas Rangers on the field.
In the bottom of the 9th. inning, Torres, 25, carried a pitch from Texas left-handed reliever John King into the right-field bleachers.
In accordance with Baseball Savantthe Venezuelan infielder’s connection posted an exit speed of 106.5 mph and traveled 369 feet at Yankee Stadium.

Thanks to Gleyber Torres, the Yankees won their 19th win of the season in a doubleheader.

It is not the first time in the campaign that the man from Caracas has become a hero for the New York cause, since on April 23 he hit an unstoppable hit as a pinch hitter to leave the now Cleveland Guardians prone.

The Yankees hope that Gleyber Torres, moved back to second base, can increase his offensive output in 2022.
In the preseason, the Venezuelan revealed that fatherhood gave him “an additional motivation” to improve on the field of play.
