FC Bayern: comment after 1: 3 in Mainz! Do not disgrace your club and the league! – Bundesliga

More, more, more and more.

Contract negotiations for absurdly high salaries in the millions have been the dominant topic at Bayern for weeks.

I don’t want to start a debate about envy; Basically, I say: The market provides these sums, FC Bayern can afford to pay them – who can blame the players for wanting to get the best out of themselves?

BUT: If you pocket significantly more than one million euros a month, more than some DAX board members, you can of course play bad football, be out of shape and have bad days. There is one thing, however, that top-top-top earners are not allowed to have: no desire and no attitude.

You have a damn duty to be the best you can be in every practice session, in every game. This is the minimum for the maximum.

Bayern didn’t even begin to do that in Mainz, they were probably already thinking about the previously planned team trip to Ibiza.

It was a mandatory game in the Bundesliga, which incidentally could also be bet on. Doing it like this is not only embarrassing, it’s bad for the league’s reputation – and yes, it’s distortion of competition! Except for Bayern, it is at least about placement in the table and thus about TV money.

I can understand Hertha coach Felix Magath that he fears a repeat against relegation candidate VfB Stuttgart next weekend.

Therefore, Bavaria’s multi-millionaires with the 10th bowl in a row must apply: pull yourself together! Do not disgrace your club and the league.
