Dutch woman Boris Becker: ‘He is doing well in prison’

In conversation with Piers Morgan, Lilly said she is still not separated from Boris. “It was an intense love story from the start. Everyone who knows us knows this.” It’s also not that Lilly doesn’t want to divorce Boris. “But we have to get things done at the right time.” And does she still love Boris? “Of course it is.”

Lilly also said that under the circumstances, Boris is doing ‘well’, who is now in a cell. “It’s not a five-star hotel,” she added.

Lilly had to tell her 12-year-old son Amadeus, whom she had with Boris, that his father is in prison. “It was the hardest thing I’ve ever had to tell my kid,” she says. “He just couldn’t comprehend it. And still doesn’t. It breaks my heart, but at the same time it appeals to my maternal instincts.”

The German former tennis player was found guilty by a London court on Friday of withholding his assets from his trustee. The former number one in the world was declared bankrupt on June 21, 2017 due to an unpaid loan of more than 3 million pounds on his estate in Mallorca, Spain.

Boris is said to have withheld millions in income in his bankruptcy and failed to give up several trophies won as part of his assets.
