“Díaz has worked hard to be key in Liverpool”

Luis Diaz is close to another title with Liverpool in less than six months. This Saturday the Reds will face Chelsea in the grand final of the FA Cup, at Wembley Stadium, and the Colombian winger is emerging as a starter in the team led by Jürgen Klopp thanks to the good level he has shown in recent games, especially in the important matches in which he always appears.

Paul Merson, former British midfielder who wore the shirts of Arsenal, Brentford, Middlesbrough, Aston Villa and the England National Team, among others, made his weekly column in Sportskeeda and dedicated a few lines to the 25-year-old peasant, of whom highlighted his rapid adaptation as well as all the work he has done to achieve a fixed quota in the starting eleven of the Anfield team.

“Luis Diaz is another Liverpool player who deserves a mention because he has adapted to the team faster than snow since joining in January. He has entered directly to form the trident of forwards and has worked hard to become a key player for the club, I can’t speak enough about this guy,” said the former English player.

The grand final of the FA Cup between Chelsea and Liverpool will be played this Saturday, May 14 at 10:45 am (Colombian time) at Wembley Stadium, in London. If he won the title, Luis Díaz would become the second Colombian to win the tournament after David Ospin, who won it twice with Arsenal.
