Ceferin threatens Juventus, Real Madrid and Barca

UEFA boss Aleksander Ceferin has confirmed that sanctions could affect three big European clubs still in favor of the Super League: Juventus, Real Madrid and FC Barcelona.

In an interview at The Teamwhere he promotes the new version of the Champions League, the Slovenian confirmed that the three cadors could be excluded from the C1 in the future: “It is possible to punish any club. (…) But it is the UEFA Disciplinary Committee, which is independent, which will have to decide.” Real Madrid, Barça and Juventus would still like to create an alternative European competition, the Super League, which displeases UEFA, which has been planning for several months to sanction the clubs concerned, after the very brief creation, in April 2021, of this competitor of the Champions League. Aleksander Ceferin claimed that UEFA could “to act” soon.

The new version of the C1 could however calm the desires of these three major clubs.
