The municipal club managed to reap good performances from its athletes in this event for sub15, sub19 and senior players that was held on the weekend of May 14 and 15 in the Basque Country.
CD Badminton Laguna has won seven medals in the TOP TTR Vitoria. The championship was held on the weekend of May 14 and 15 in the Basque Country. It was aimed at players under 15, under 19 and seniors, and local athletes achieved very good performances.
The most outstanding results were those of Ana Esther Martín and Paola Vallelado, who won gold in DF15. Ana Esther Martín, this time together with Daniel Balboa, also won silver in DX15, as did Isaac Martín and José Bartolomé in the DM B1 category. In IMA2-B1 Isaac Martín also achieved second position. The bronzes came with Isaac Martín Jr, accompanied by Iker Bartolomé, from the Valladolid Badminton Club, in DM15. José Ángel de la Cruz, together with José Carlos Pérez, from the Soria Badminton Club, achieved this third position in DMC1. Finally, José Bartolomé took the bronze medal in IMA2-B1.
From the club it has been ensured that they came with high expectations, especially in the doubles. “It is a modality that we have been perfecting with specific work on the track in recent weeks and it seems that after reaping a total of seven medals we are on the right track”.
