Bagus Kahfi’s journey with FC Utrecht is now officially over.
As is known, Bagus Kahfi was brought in by FC Utrecht at the beginning of 2021.
Bagus Kahfi was signed to FC Utrecht for 1.5 seasons.
Bagus Kahfi himself was placed in the second team, namely, Jong Utrecht who played in the Eerste Divisie.

Unfortunately, Bagus Kahfi failed to compete for the Jong Utrecht main team.
The 20-year-old player has had minimal playing time throughout the season.
Injuries also hindered Bagus Kahfi’s path to penetrate the Jong Utrecht main team.
It was noted that Bagus Kahfi only appeared in two Eerste Divisie matches.
This situation makes FC Utrecht not interested in extending the contract of the frizzy-haired player.

“This is my first time playing in Europe at a very young age,” said Bagus Kahfi, quoted from his personal Instagram, Saturday (7/5/2022).
Some time ago Bagus himself had expressed his intention to continue playing in Europe if it was not extended by FC Utrecht.

Bagus Kahfi is determined to find a new club in Europe.
“The future (in Europe) is there, I am still optimistic about it,” said Bagus at KR TVE (9/2/2022).
“If not (extend contract), yes I will try to another club,” he continued.
Currently Bagus Kahfi is starting to be linked with a number of European clubs.
One of them is a club from Greece, Asteras Tripolis.
Asteras Tripolis itself is a club that competes in the highest caste of the Greek League.
Rumors of Bagus Kahfi joining Asteras Polis grew stronger after the player started following the club’s Instagram.
