The team from the province of Buenos Aires was consecrated last night undefeated Argentine champion of the U 17 category in the city of La Rioja.
The Buenos Aires team beat the host 89-72 (favorable partials of 18-16, 43-37 and 65-50) and made the Olympic return after three epic days that had them as the main protagonist of the contest.
Led by Juninense Juan Pablo Chami, Buenos Aires managed to first overcome the pitfalls of Tucumán and Febamba in the first two days of the national tournament played in Riojan lands.

The player from Argentino de Junín, Santiago Bilbao (who played with the Buenos Aires national team) was part of the ideal quintet of the championship, along with Jerónimo Guerrero (La Rioja), Eduardo García (Febamba), Juan Aragón (Tucumán) and Lee Aliya ( Buenos Aires).

Center Lee Abraham Aaliya, from Buenos Aires, was decorated as MVP of the tournament.
Goal scorer
Eduardo García, from Febamba, was the top scorer in the championship with 77 points. In second place was Juan Aragón from La Rioja.
