Anderson Cotón qualified to compete in the Cadet European Championship which will take place at the end of June in Porec (Croatia). Eo judoka from JC Arteixo already participated this year with the Spanish team in the Gimnasiada, where he obtained fifth place. The man from Coruña achieved his classification thanks to winning the bronze medal in the Cadet European Cup that was held in Coimbra (Portugal). There he faced five combats. In the first two they got rid of the locals Silva and Lampreia. In the quarterfinals he defeated the Mexican Ramírez but in the semifinals he lost to the Ukrainian Viskov at the golden point. And he closed with victory by ippon to achieve the bronze.
