The Paris-SG is a club that we do not leave. According to several sources, the international striker of the Blues Kylian Mbappé (23), whose five-season contract with Paris-SG comes to an end this summer and who thus had the possibility of leaving for the destination of his choice, has chose to stay in the capital. In recent days, crazy rumors from Spain, for example reporting a pharaonic signing bonus of 300 million euros and a prorated annual salary offered by Doha and the Parisian management, have fueled the story. – following telling: it is the money that explained the (supposed) reversal of the player, a football club not being able to align itself with the economic power of a State.

It’s hard not to see the hand of the president of Real Florentino Perez, who will have to explain to his socios the bitter failure that Mbappé has just administered to the most successful club on the planet. A strange statement published Friday in the Egyptian media Kora Plus, assumed by the player’s relatives – who however deny the fact that Mbappé’s mother herself spoke, as indicated by the statement -, came to the rescue: “The two proposals [du Real et du Paris-SG] are almost identical, “an agreement has been reached with the two clubs” and the player must, alone, like a grown-up, make a choice which supposedly involves some of the best years of his career.

An apparent simplicity difficult to correlate with what we know of the negotiations between those close to Mbappé and the Parisian club for a few months, the chronic inability of the Parisian leaders to parameterize anything other than money in the discussions, Doha in grip direct on the club’s decisions in recent months and sporting director Leonardo dismissed. Because, except reversal of situation, the fate of Leonardo is already sealed. There is no chance that the current revolution will end there: if a player with the ambitions that are those of Mbappé leaves for a round in a somewhat folkloric club, which remains on three eliminations in five years from the 8th finals of the Champions League is that he managed to get his hands on the sports project in unprecedented proportions to date. No doubt we should see the pride of the monumental player that he is, world champion at 19, able to ride on Champions League teams at 17 and who goes through his bad evenings with two more goals in counter.
