Almost Final in AFC Cup Now PSM Makassar is Optimistic, Tavares Says the Fate of Foreign Players

TRIBUNKALTENG.COM – Finally PSM Makassar has registered players to face the 2022 AFC Cup.

The Laskar Pinisi squad will compete in the AFC Cup on June 24-30 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Joined in Group H, PSM Makassar will test the strength of Kuala Lumpur City, which was designed by former PSM coach, Bojan Hodak, Friday (6/24/2022). Then the Singapore giant team, Tampines Rovers on Thursday (30/6/2022).

The pride team for the people of South Sulawesi will depart for the neighboring country on Monday (20/6/2022).

The PSM Makassar squad is currently inhabited by 34 players. Of these, only 20 players are contract players.

The foreign legion slot is not yet equipped. However, one place is confirmed to be filled with Brazilian striker, Everton Nascimento.

The 28-year-old has arrived in Makassar City on Sunday (22/5/2022) night, but Everton has not been officially announced by PSM.

Three foreign players are currently widely rumored to be the winner of the 1999-2000 Indonesian League.

Namely attacking midfielder from Bahrain, Issa Moosa Naji, defender from Cape Verde, Yuran Fernandes and winger from Japan, Kenzo Nambu.

PSM Makassar coach, Bernardo Tavares ensured that the quota of four foreign players was complete next June.
