4 mei 2022 – Ajax confirmed through the official channels on Wednesday evening that Ryan Gravenberch’s season is over. Lisandro Martínez, Perr Schuurs and Antony are also not in action in the last three games of the season.
Gravenberch sustained an ankle injury during training on Wednesday and can therefore no longer help Ajax in the title race. Martínez missed the last four games due to a muscle injury and will not play against AZ (away), sc Heerenveen (home) and Vitesse (away).
Schuurs injured his knee in the away game against NEC and is currently out of circulation. That also applies to Antony, who suffered an ankle injury during the international match with the Brazilian at the end of March.
There is also good news from the infirmary. Both Noussair Mazraoui and Steven Berghuis appear to be fully available again soon. Mazraoui had to miss the last three matches, while Berghuis has been in action lately, despite minor physical complaints.
