Yeliseev will not stay in Sweden’s second league club ‘MoDo’

The striker of the Latvian national hockey team Nikolajs Jeļisejevs will not stay in the club “MoDo” of the second highest league in Sweden, the club reports on Wednesday.

The club reports that four hockey players are leaving the team. Yeliseev is among them.

“The four players are goalkeeper Henrik Tikanen, defender Philip Hasa and strikers Nikolai Yeliseev and Tanner McMaster,” the club said.

Hasa and McMaster joined MoDo before 2021/2022. Tikanen and Yeliseev – during the season.

For Jeliseev, this was a breakout season, which he spent until February in the Riga “Dinamo” team, scoring 13 goals and seven assists in 29 matches in the Continental Hockey League (KHL).

MoDo has three goals and seven assists in his 20 games.
