JUARA.NET – Retired fighter Josh Thomson claims that the UFC will stop talks about heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou and boxing king Tyson Fury at any cost.
According to Thomson, the UFC did not want the duel to happen.
Though, both Ngannou and Fury crush hard to meet immediately in the fighting arena.
After the duel against Dillian Whyte on Sunday (4/24/2022) WIB, Tyson Fury and Francis Ngannou have even pledged to meet the two of them in 2023.
“I think the UFC will do whatever it takes to make this fight cancelled,” said Josh Thomson.
“They don’t want it,” continued this former lightweight champion.
Regarding the reason why the UFC did not want this duel to take place, Thomson’s attention was focused on the name Francis Ngannou.
Ngannou is indeed one of the heroes who has a big name in the event led by Dana White.
However, Ngannou feels that Thomson’s big name is still not enough to be awarded a big boxing duel against Tyson Fury.
