A look back at the previous weekend when the Orne adult doubles championships took place. The Aiglons leave with two podiums including second place for Sarah Dufour and Valérie Trinité in series 2 and above all the Ornais title in series 4 for the duo Bryan Letailleur/Ronan Glémarec. For the latter, it is his first title. A well-deserved reward after many years spent in the field.

A sacred track record

This weekend, place for young people with in Lisieux, the Normandy championships for the categories of chicks to juniors. Among the youngest, there was a harvest of medals with a triple presence on the podium for Raphaël Elie. First, he played in men’s doubles associated with Maé Viau then a new singles final after a very close semi-final and of a very high level (according to observers) between the two Aiglons. Raphaël bows out in the final, more nervously exhausted than physically. The consolation comes from the mixed in which he won the regional grail in collaboration with a young player from Condé-sur-Sarthe. Already a great track record.

The other satisfaction is to the credit of Léna Glémarec who adds two new medals to her collection, both in bronze, acquired in singles and doubles associated with her usual partner Sohan Van Giseel. Three other Aiglons were present but could not get out of their respective pools: Guillaume Castel, Luis Delarue and Romane Viau. Finally, we must add the packages due to Covid-19 from Pauline Barré and Alix Régniard but also from Nolan Garnier deprived as well as doubles and mixed partners.
