Sofia (AFP) – Spanish judoka Francisco Garrigós revalidated his European title in the -60 kg category this Friday in Sofia.
Garrigós, 27, adds this metal to a list of winners in which, in addition to his two European golds (2021, 2022), he has two bronzes in the continental championship (2017, 2020) and a bronze in the World Cup (2021).
Garrigós’s was one of the three Spanish medals on Friday at the European Judo Championships in Sofia.
Alberto Gaitero hung the silver in -66 kilograms and Julia Figueroa the bronze in -48 kilograms.
The Sofia European is held in the Bulgarian capital until Sunday.
