The Association of Peñas Azules del Oviedo (APARO) spoke out this afternoon in a statement about the week’s controversy with Sporting, which will not send tickets to the Carbayón team’s fans. The Aparo thanks the blue club “for the steps taken to try to get their fans to witness the match, but it will not be possible due to the unilateral decision of the local team.” The Aparo considers that position a “manifest recklessness”. And he explains it like this: “The position has been that either you travel without the police or you don’t travel, which we consider manifestly reckless, since the displacement of visiting hobbies in this type of meeting we understand that they must be carried out under certain security parameters , as in the rest of games with similar characteristics”.

The Aparo emphasizes that “accepting a device did not mean that we were in agreement with those made previously, since the times that were set were obviously excessive for a match of 28 km distance, but the Government Delegation itself accepted a reduction. Unfortunately, the local party did not attend the meeting called”.

The supporters’ clubs hope that “hereinafter the local club redirects its position on the matter, ensuring the integrity of all attendees and not promoting disorganized and uncoordinated trips that do nothing but hinder the work of the Security Forces and Bodies of the condition”. Lastly, the Aparo “encourages our fans to dye the streets of Oviedo and the rest of the cities and towns of Asturias blue, and to get together to watch the game at the headquarters of their supporters clubs or in the neighborhood bars.”
