The Mexican pre-selection of sub18, already trains in Los Mochis

The U18 Preselection is already concentrated in Los Mochis, Sinaloa, as part of its preparation for the FIBA ​​Americas that will be held from June 13 to 19, with a venue to be defined.

There are 15 girls, from 11 different states of the republic who are training in the Multipurpose Center of this city, with their sights set on being part of the national selective, this preparation stage is directed by the trainer Alejandra Arellano, taking as associate trainer, the Pioneros Los Mochis in CIBACOPA, and a fundamental part of the development of women’s talent of the national team, Jheovanny García and as assistant to Roy Rojo from Ahome, the training sessions are being held in the evening and will conclude next Sunday the 24th of this month, to see the material with which they will face this international commitment.

The States that are representing with these athletes that, incidentally are completely committed to this process Many of them are accompanied by part of their families, to always give them the important support, they are Sonora (2), Chihuahua (2), Nuevo León (1), Guanajuato (1), Veracruz (1), Puebla (2), Michoacán(1), State of Mexico (1), Zacatecas(1), Chiapas (1), Baja California (1), Mexico City(1) and of course Sinaloa (1).

This is the sixth concentration of this pre-selective and the girls who best demonstrate their abilities and enter the game system that the coaching staff proposes will be the ones that are selected, this Wednesday morning they had a preparation game against the Sinaloa U-16 men’s team, in the Benito Juárez auditorium and right there at 5 in the afternoon will be the training, with the aim of qualifying for the specialty world championship on a date and venue to be defined.

This concentration is possible thanks to the synergy between the National Teams Project, headed by Omar Quintero Pereda the IMDA Ahome and Pioneros de Los Mochis; in agreement with the Josefa Ortiz School and the Patriotas Club, and with the support and logistics of the Directorate of National Teams and National ADEMEBA.
