Gonzalo Villanueva, from Entre Ríos, fifth favorite in the tournament, won this Sunday at the Rosario Jockey Club the ITF M-25 II “Copa Paddock” international tournament, which awarded points for the ATP ranking and prizes of US$ 25,000.
The tennis player beat his compatriot, the local Franco Egea, in the final definition by 3-6, 6-4 and 6-1 and added his seventh title in that category.
In addition, the Paraná native closes two brilliant weeks, since the previous Sunday he played the final of the first stage, the ITF M25-I, which was played at the Gimnasia y Esgrima de Rosario club, in Parque Independencia.
Gonzalo’s next goal will be the Tigre Challenger, a higher status tournament, in two weeks and where he will perform from the previous classification.
