Suddenly it’s really tight again!
In the fight for international business, SC Freiburg has to play at TSG Hoffenheim on Saturday (6.30 p.m.). After the 3:3 against Gladbach, SC is two points behind fourth place and three points ahead of seventh place.
Streich: “The team played a great game, but if you want to reward yourself and achieve something special, then you shouldn’t concede goals like that.”
Bitter: As against Gladbach, striker Nils Petersen (33/after illness) is in danger of being out this time – previously he scored five times in eleven games – plus one assist. And SC only lost against Bayern despite a goal from him.
Streich: “We did a little on Thursday, so he was able to take part a bit, but we don’t know yet whether it makes sense for him to be there.”
So there is some hope…
