San Rafael podiums in the table tennis GP in the province of San Luis

Last weekend the San Luis GP was played, counting on the legion that represented the Sanrafaelina Association that disputed a new date valid for the national circuit in the city of La Punta, with several podiums in the different categories.

LOCAL RESULTS

Gianni Piruzi once again had a lucid task and finished in third place in the Under 9 category, Alba Allegra Piruzi obtained two third places in both Under 9 and Under 11 in women. The same was done by Giuliana Peres who finished third in U17 ladies and Isabella Lorenzo who reached third place in U17 ladies.

For his part, Franco Villaruel climbed onto the podium after finishing third in the Under 19 and Under 23 categories.

Coach Franco Piruzi, who traveled with the delegation, highlighted: “The balance is always positive when you compete as equals with the best players in the country. We have a lot of potential, players in constant growth and development, this type of tournament helps us to see where we stand, what we lack and where to go”.

Regarding the future, he pointed out: “The next tournament is in the city of Rosario in May and we will surely test the aspects that we have to improve, thinking about the future”.

NEW TOURNAMENT

As for what is coming for our association, next weekend, more precisely on Saturday April 9 at the San Antonio de Padua School located at 686 Balloffet Avenue, a new tournament will be played.

The same will be for the Sub 11 and Sub 18 categories that will play their matches from 11:30 a.m., at 12:45 p.m. will be the Sub 13 duels and in the afternoon from 2:00 p.m. they are scheduled for First and Third, to culminate the day with Second and Fourth category They will play from 4:30 p.m. The entrance for those who want to attend the games is free and free.
