Salies-du-Salat. The echoes of judo

Promising results for the Salies du Salat judo school.

In the Occitanie semi-final of the youngest in Tarbes, Gwenaëlle Buc, after a superb competition and well-fought fights, fails at the foot of the podium and wins 5th place, synonymous with qualification for the Occitanie final in Mèze, the ultimate level at this age.

Oihan Zubieta at the end of a very good course, did not manage to get out of the pool, but showed great encouraging progress for next season.

Estelle Aguero, their diligent training partner, won the bronze medal after several highly committed victories.

Note the last minute package of Néphyline Fourés; she will finally be able to defend her chances next season, no doubt about it, given the constant progression of this judoka. For all, on the way to the final on April 24 in Montpellier.

At the Grand Prix Occitanie de Cahors, Titouan Hamel won the silver medal and 100 points for his 1st DAN black belt, a big development for this young judo enthusiast.

Léo Joan finished bronze medal indicating a very good recovery after 2 years without competitions.

Damien Dugers failed in the quarter-finals and finished 5th but returned to victory.

Results that satisfy their parents, leaders, teachers and partners. These judokas knew how to raise their technical level to obtain these results and a place on the podium.

A big thank you also to their training partners.
