The series against the Mavericks indeed appears as a make or break, as a defeat in the context of recent weeks would have profound consequences for the Salt Lake City team. Nothing is set in stone, but it is likely that either Gobert or Mitchell, or both, will leave Utah via trade.

Beyond the interest shown by the Dubs in the Frenchie, it is interesting to note that according to Sean Deveney, the executives of the Californian locker room would be favorable to the arrival of Gobert. It is obviously in priority of Steph Curry, Klay Thompson and Draymond Green. We know that the strong winger has a beef with the pivot of the Jazz, but the need for the Warriors to have a dominant big could quickly sweep away these trivialities.
