Ricard Artero is an example of the future for Girona. The midfielder from La Bisbal d’Empordà has become one of the young players revelation of the season, after convincing Michel last summer to make a place in the first team from the youth A and without having had time to go through the branch. Arriving at the club in his first year as a child, he burned all the stages until making his debut against Alcorcón (3-1) in November 2021. Since then, he has become a real alternative for the coach in part of combining it with minutes at Girona B.
