Pont-Péan. The badminton association is looking for a volunteer to come into the office

The Pont-Péannaise Badminton Association has 37 women and 75 men. Among these 112 members, there are 39 more registered than for the 2020-2021 season, while 25 are under 18 and 73 members live in the municipality. This is what emerged from the general meeting of the association of Pont-Pean (Ille-et-Vilaine), Saturday April 9, 2022, at the Jacques-Gourdais complex, under the chairmanship of Jean-Yves Blouin.

The president observes people find it difficult to return to the pitches. They are about thirty. Out of twenty children, fifteen return regularly on Saturday mornings. Our badminton association is leisure, not competitionhe recalls.

The contributions for the year 2021-2022 had been modified given the short playing time last season. For members registered in 2019-2020, membership was €1. For the next sports season 2022-2023, the members of the office wished to modify the subscription rates. For those over 16, the price is €20 and for those under 16, membership is €10.

The association is looking for a vice-secretary or a vice-treasurer

Reservation slots are open until Thursday July 28, except Saturdays from June 11. The opening of slots will then resume on Monday August 29 (except for Saturday). Hours are Monday from 6:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.; Tuesday from 9 p.m. to 11 p.m.; Thursday from 8:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 1:15 p.m.

Due to the health crisis and the absence of a general meeting in 2021, the members of the office were all outgoing. Two members are not representing themselves: Julien Bonnier and Ronan Dupont. The members of the office are therefore: Alain Barbier, Jean-Yves Blouin, Karina Pointu and Olivier Radin. The association is looking for a member at the office level to be vice-treasurer or vice-secretary”, also informs the President.

Note that Saturday, June 18, at the sports hall, a badminton morning is organized followed by a meal. The dates of the internal friendly meetings for children and adults remain to be determined.
