When the form is there, everything is fine. This sentence fits perfectly with Jérôme Reynier, coach of Marrakech Moon (No. 13), winner of the quinté du jour at the Val-d’Or racecourse, which saddled four winners the day before at the Marseille-Borély and Chantilly racecourses. To achieve this success, Mickaël Barzalona, jockey of Marrakech Moon, placed his partner close to the leading group before going on the offensive 400m from the finish, quickly making the difference. He thus won his first quinté for his fourth try.
Isolated outside the track, Goldino Bello (n° 8) achieves a very good performance. He is the only competitor to have taken this option, and to finish in the right combination of the fifth. He steals the first accessit to Trobreizh (n° 11), which proves to be courageous to take third place. After being slow to find his action, Norwegian Sir (n° 1) placed a good jerk to deprive Invincible Light (No. 2) of fourth place.
The favorites were disappointing overall. Hooton (no 7) was not threatening despite a quick start, while Jureer (No. 3) has never given hope to its takers.
