No one thought that Henhen Herdiana would get his place and stage in the 2021/2022 League 1 Competition. When he thought Bayu Fiqri would be the right replacement for Supardi, Henhen actually got a moment that convinced coach Robert Alberts, he was able to carry out his duties by upgrading his game to a better position at right wing-back.
Henhen did not get the confidence in the first three matches of the competition. Robert entrusted the right-back position to Bayu to replace Supardi, who at that time suffered an ankle injury at the beginning of the season.
A new opportunity came to Henhen in Persib’s fourth match against Borneo FC. He entered in the second half replacing Supardi. Henhen has recorded the most minutes played in a career with 1982 minutes played in a season, from 25 appearances, 22 starters. His performance which has featured quality right-backs has made Henhen tempted by other clubs to leave Persib. “The offer is there,” replied Henhen.
The player with the number 12 back prioritizes Persib. He hopes that the upcoming 2022/2023 season can provide achievements for the pride of this West Java club. “Hopefully God can give health and Henhen can still play for Persib,” said Henhen.
