NFL: Derek Carr with the Raiders until 2025

The Las Vegas Raiders have offered a three-year, $121.5 million contract extension to quarterback Derek Carr, who will stay in Vegas through the 2025 season, NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reports.

Carr, 31, helped the Raiders go 10-7 in 2021, amassing 4,804 yards, 23 touchdowns and 14 interceptions.

Selected in the second round in 2014, Carr has played each of his eight career NFL seasons with the Raiders. In 127 games, Carr has 31,700 yards, 193 touchdowns and 85 interceptions.

The Fresno, Calif., native will have a new top target next season after the Raiders traded their 2022 first- and second-round picks to the Green Bay Packers for the services of star receiver Davante Adams. The latter has since signed a 5-year contract worth $141.25 million.
