On the sidelines of the first day of the D1 national basketball championship, Orange-Mali, official sponsor of the Malian Basketball Federation, organized on Friday April 22, at the Salamata Maïga Sports Palace, a gala match between its executives and the members of the Executive Committee of the Malian Basketball Federation (FMBB). A meeting that falls within the framework of the consolidation of the partnership between the two structures.
The gala match took place in the presence of Ms. Doucouré Fatoumata Sangaré, head of the Corporate Communication Division of Orange-Mali; Mamadou Boubel Konaté, Finance and Marketing Manager of the Malian Basketball Federation; Moctar Sy, legal manager of Orange-Mali; Ms Kéita Kamissa Mariétou Diakité, Ethics Director of Orange-Mali, as well as several members of the FMBB Executive Committee.
It is to magnify its partnership with the Malian Basketball Federation that Orange-Mali initiated this gala match between its executives and the members of the FMBB Executive Committee. According to the head of the Institutional Communication Division of Orange-Mali, the Malian Basketball Federation has been an excellent partner of Orange-Mali for years. “For years, the two structures have maintained a dynamic and fruitful partnership. It is only natural that Orange-Mali supports the FMBB in the organization of the national basketball championship. Tonight’s gala match is a way for us to reiterate the full support and commitment of Orange-Mali General Management to the Malian Basketball Federation.”she clarified.
For his part, Mamadou Boubel Konaté, the Finance and Marketing manager of the Malian Basketball Federation, welcomed this great initiative from the mobile phone company. “We are delighted with this sign of confidence and the support from Orange-Mali for Malian basketball in order to allow it to shine even higher. For this gala match, there was no winner, but it was the partnership that won because Orange-Mali is a reliable partner of the Malian Basketball Federation”. he hinted.
Note that this gala meeting ended with the victory of the Malian Basketball Federation over Orange-Mali by the score of 8-4.
