After the Suns, finalists of the last NBA finals, who lost Devin Booker, it is the turn of the defending champion to accuse a big blow. The Bucks were indeed awaiting the results of the MRI passed by Khris Middleton, victim of a nasty injury in Game 2 against Chicago which caused hyperextension of his left knee.
The verdict is in and the winger, who suffers from a sprained internal lateral ligament in his left knee, will have to wait at least two weeks before being reassessed by the medical staff. Khris Middleton is already forfeited for the rest of the series between the two teams.
It’s still good news since there is no tearing of a ligament, but it means that the Bucks will be greatly reduced for the rest of the series. And even in the event of qualification, it is not certain that Khris Middleton will be restored for a possible semi-final of the conference against the Celtics or the Nets.
Milwaukee Bucks All-Star Khris Middleton has an MCL sprain in his left knee and will be re-evaluated in two weeks, sources tell ESPN. Bucks will have to play without Middleton for the rest of this first-round series against Chicago.
