New satisfactions for the Judo Club Sakura Arma di Taggia ASD: in the last weekend four athletes took part in the International Tournament “Genoa City of Colombo”Grand Prix Cadets and Grand Prix Juniors,
Lorenzo Rossi in first place
Lorenzo Rossi, Junior, 2nd Dan black belt, weight category Kg. +100, after the success reported on 20/03/2022 in the International Tournament “Alpe Adria 2022” where he was ranked in 1st place, he repeated the result also in the Tournament “Genoa City of Colombo”, ranking again in first place in its category, overcoming Italian and foreign opponents of considerable stature.
At the first experience in the women’s Junior Grand Prix, Lisa Riccio she finished in 3rd place, winning a coveted bronze medal.
The cadets
In the first year of the Cadet class, Carola Actis and Samuel Actis they competed honorably, even without reaching the medal zone. For them, the races in which they are participating are the opportunity to gain considerable experience, being all of a very high level. So, aware of not being able to excel yet, they treasure everything they can see and experience, in order to better face future races in the Cadet class. The technicians who follow the athletes, M ° ben. Alberto Ferrigno and the Instructor Alessio Ferrigno, they are happy with the results and determined to continue an increasingly careful preparation.
