Technology Crown Eagle (Emtek) is guaranteed to be the holder of broadcast rights Premier League in Indonesia. Emtek announced a three-season licensing contract.
English Premier League broadcasting rights were questioned after Mola TV announced that next season they would no longer have broadcast rights next season. The 2021/2022 season was the last time Mola TV broadcast the English Premier League.
“Emtek will broadcast the English Premier League (EPL), so the EPL is the most popular and most watched league in the world,” said Managing Director of Vidio Monika Rudijono when giving a virtual statement, Tuesday (5/4/2022).
“Impressions (English Premier League) for the next three seasons until 2025 and will be broadcast through multi-platform in the media in the Emtek Group. Emtek will deploy all platforms,” he added.
Apart from digital platforms, some matches will also be broadcast on two television channels. Namely the match will be presented on SCTV and O’Channel.
Not only that, the audience can also watch the match through a satellite dish. So there are many ways to watch Premier League matches.
“A total of 380 matches can be watched on video anytime and anywhere. So this video is home of sport,” said Monika.
“The presence of EPL makes Vidio an OTT platform with the best and most complete sports shows. We have now become the No. 1 OTT platform in Indonesia,” he said.
